Paws & Trails

Details
It's time to hit the trails! Bring your pup for a relaxing morning of fresh air, furry friends, and fun!
Join Dog Days Canine Connection at Connetquot River State Park on Saturday, September 20, from 11 AM to 12 PM for a dog-friendly hike through the serene park.
Whether you’re looking to meet other pet parents, give your pup some social time, or looking to enjoy a peaceful stroll through the outdoors, this is the pawfect way to spend your Saturday morning!
Where to Find Us:
We will meet at the Visitor Center at 11 am and walk the Yellow trail.
We will be wearing t-shirts that say "Dog Days Pet Care", so look out for the logo!
Depending on the weather and your dog’s stamina, we’ll walk the entire 1-mile trail. If you choose to continue or need to leave early, no worries. Do what’s best for you and your pet!
We will start the hike at approximately 11 am, so please make sure you give yourself ample time to get to the park and use the restrooms if needed (the closest bathroom will be at the end of the trail).
What To Bring:
- Poop bags (let's keep the park clean!)
- Fresh water for your pet and a water bowl
About the Park:
There is an $8 car fee to enter the park.
Address: 4090 Sunrise Hwy, Oakdale, NY 11769
*In the event of inclement or extremely hot weather, please check Meetup or our Facebook and Instagram pages for updates on any weather-related changes by 10 AM Saturday.*
So bring your pup for a tail-wagging day of fun on the trail. We can't wait to see you there!
