Let's hit the trails! Bring your pup for an exciting morning of fresh air, furry friends, and fall fun!
Join Dog Days Canine Connection at Gardiner County Park on Saturday, November 15, from 11 AM to 12 PM for a dog-friendly hike to the beach!
This is the pawfect way to spend your Saturday morning meeting other pet parents, giving your pup some social time, or enjoying a peaceful stroll through the outdoors!
Where to Find Us:
Meet us in the parking lot, we will be wearing t-shirts that say "Dog Days Pet Care", so look out for the logo!
We will start the hike at approximately 11 am, taking the Canine Loop Trail (.5 mile) to the Beach Road Trail (1 mile) down to the beach, where you can see the Great South Bay Bridge to Fire Island and back. Altogether, it should be a 2.5 mile hike.
Depending on the weather and your dog’s stamina, we’ll walk the trails down to the beach. If you choose to continue or need to leave early, no worries. Do what’s best for you and your pet!
What To Bring:
- Poop bags (let's keep the park clean!)
- Fresh water for your pet and a water bowl
Please dress appropriately. As we are now in the colder months, please wear warm clothes and ensure your dog's comfort too!

There are restrooms on-site. Please use them before we set off on the hike.
