Exton - Furry February Walk

Details
This will be a walk on a gravel path from the beautiful Rutland village of Exton to Fort Henry a pictaresque folly on a lake (that is not open to the public). At the start of the walk (first 5 minutes) we walk through a field of sheep and dogs will need to be on the lead, but after this first bit of the walk, dogs can roam freely off the lead and Morrissey loves chasing birds through the rolling fields. We may choose not to go as far as the folly - since that would make this a 2-2.5h walk and people might prefer a shorter walk but we can play it by ear on the day. The walk starts on New Field Road where the houses end (at No.12). This is a popular walk and we may come across families with children and cyclists but most people let their dogs walk off lead. Please note there is only street parking in the area, no car park and we need to be considerate to home owners.
