Wednesday Evening Hike at Umstead (Sal's Branch Trail)

Join Us for a Dog-Friendly Hike on Sal’s Branch Trail!
Bring your pup and enjoy a relaxed 2.5-mile hike on Sal’s Branch Trail at Umstead State Park. We’ll meet at the Umstead Visitor Center (accessible from the Glenwood Ave entrance).
We'll hike counter-clockwise at a leisurely pace, so our dogs can enjoy plenty of sniffing opportunities along the way. Please keep your dog leashed at all times and remember to clean up after them.
Meeting Time: 6:00 PM
Departure: 6:10 PM – this gives the pups time for a little meet & greet before we hit the trail.
What to Bring: Water and hiking boots or sturdy shoes are recommended.
Running late? No worries—you can either follow the trail counter-clockwise and try to catch up, or go clockwise and meet us along the way!
