What we’re about
If you're training your pup and looking for a group of responsible dog owners to practice together, this meetup is for you!
As owners of a young, mildly reactive German Shepherd, we’ve struggled to work on her reactivity in public spaces. Too often, other owners allow their dogs to approach without permission or fail to respect our space.
We’re looking for like-minded dog owners who are actively training their pups and want to practice in a small group setting. Our focus is teaching dogs to remain neutral in the presence of distractions—especially other dogs. Sessions may include training in a park, group walks, or other structured activities.
Important Notes:
-This is not a guided training class; owners should have a solid understanding of training techniques and how to execute them without guidance.
-The goal is to create a controlled environment where responsible dog owners can train and socialize their dogs safely.
Rule #1: All dogs must remain leashed and at a distance from each other—no introductions during training.
All breeds and sizes are welcome, as long as you can maintain control on a leash!
If this sounds like the right fit for you and your pup, we’d love to have you join us!
