What we’re about

First and foremost, I am NOT a dog trainer! I merely have an interest in training my dog.

Not for aggressive dogs or dogs with bite history.

This meetup is to encourage an environment where you can work on your dog's recall, or jumping, or other unwanted behaviors while they engage and play with other dogs!

All dogs are welcome, big and small, and there will be no breed prejudice...I myself have a one year old mastiff :). The location will be at a fully enclosed field that is always empty, so we will have the space all to ourselves! It is your choice if you want to have your dog leashed or unleashed during the meetup--for example, if you want to use a long line. Occasionally we can do "pack walks" in parks, with everybody on a leash.

Some rules:
-Please be actively watching and monitoring your dog at all times
-Please do not encourage/reward other dogs' unwanted behaviors. For example, do not pet a dog that jumps on you.
-Please do not feed or give treats to other people's dogs
-Please do not compete with the dog's owner's commands. (Ie, try not to disrupt or distract a dog when their owner is giving them a command.)
-Please do not encourage other dogs to pull on a leash (ie, petting them when they pull towards you)

Let's train and have fun with our dogs among similar-minded people who understand what you're going through, lol.
