Apache Kafka® 101

Abstract:
In this 101 session, we'll review the technical foundation of Kafka and why it's so different from what you're used to. You'll be walked through the continuous commit log principle, the resiliency model of Kafka, how to set the delivery guarantees that fits your use case and the consumer group protocol and how to scale out.

Bio:
Brice is a technology specialist with over 20 years of experience focused on the Java ecosystems and on distributed systems. He brings with him international experience supporting enterprises across Europe and the Middle East. As solutions engineer at Confluent, Brice, helps companies build the best enterprise-class streaming data platform with Apache Kafka at its core.
