Defeating Legacy Code: Group Discussion

Legacy code isn't just COBOL, it is any code that is in production, is over 2 years old, and is profitable. Most of us deal with legacy code day to day, yet as a profession we don't know how to deal with it, instead we focus on new libraries and tooling, not realising that the majority of our job involves untangling and defeating legacy code. It's the elephant in the room, the enemy that we ignore. That's why we're having a special meetup to discuss the problem and figure out how we can deal it, with DDD helping us to model and understand these systems. Know thy enemy after-all.

We'll have DDD practitioners and Legacy specialists on hand, so if you have any questions on how to deal with it feel free to come and ask!

This is a casual meetup. There won't be a talk, instead the focus will be on discussing the topic, sharing stories and trading strategies. All skills levels are welcome!
