DomCode Interactive Workshop - April 2024

We're super excited to do something completely different this month: an interactive workshop that will help you create new habits in your daily life as a developer.

Our friends at Thesio will provide us with space, some food and drinks and a welcoming atmosphere to socialize after the workshop.

Main event:
During this interactive workshop Ewout and Stefan will discuss how both personal and software development happens in small increments. Together with you, they will explore pragmatic everyday strategies: how to use small atomic commits and regularly update project dependencies. And how to prevent or deal with high mental load to make sure you, as a developer, stay happy.

Ewout Pieter den Ouden:
Ewout is an experienced software developer who likes to create things that humans enjoy using, preferably using code. He's an active member of the PHP open source community and works on making precision tooling accessible for everyday users.

Stefan Koopmanschap:
As a business co-owner at Ingewikkeld, a company with PHP experts, Stefan helps organizations improve their web-based software by providing consulting, training, and development services. In his spare time he's also a teacher at De Ruimte, a democratic school that teaches students the basics of programming with PHP, JavaScript and HTML. He enjoys sharing his knowledge and passion for web development with the next generation of coders.
