Coastal Photo Walk at Mullaghmore Head

About the Event
Join us for a coastal photo walk around Mullaghmore Head, one of Sligo’s most striking coastal spots. The Atlantic views, sea cliffs, and waves make it an ideal place for photography, especially in the softer light of late autumn.

We’ll take the loop walk along the coastline, stopping to capture the surf, cliffs, and distant views of Benbulben. The walk is about 5 km, mostly flat, with some uneven ground near the cliffs. Expect plenty of time for photos and a relaxed pace throughout.

After the walk, we’ll stop for coffee or lunch at a café in Mullaghmore village.

• Wide-angle compositions and distant mountain views

What to Bring

• Camera or phone
• Tripod (optional but useful for wave shots)
• Warm and waterproof clothing
• Good walking shoes
• Drink and snack

Meeting Point
Meet at Mullaghmore pier car park at 10:30 am. We’ll start walking by 10:45 am and finish around 1:30 pm.

We’ll go ahead unless the weather is unsafe. Cloudy skies and sea mist often make for great light and texture.
