In this talk, Christopher Baker will show hooks are different from previous paradigms, including showing actual use cases where hooks simplify things, and a live example converting from a class component to a functional component with hooks.

Learn the basics of shell scripting and how to catch bugs in your scripts before even running them. We'll cover a common linter, the anatomy of a script, and some commonly used tricks to help you write shell scripts more quickly and accurately.
