At this meetup, you’ll learn the basics of CanJS and we’ll walk through building a sample app together (so bring your laptop)! We’ll build a simple weather report widget with Yahoo’s Weather API and Query Language (YQL) that:

  • Allows a user to enter a location
  • Gets and displays the places for the user’s location
  • Allows a user to select a place
  • Gets and displays the forecast

Snacks will be provided by Bitovi.
