Skills Clinic #95A Riding With Flow (Members Only)
Hosted by Dallas Off-Road Bicycle Association
Details
What: how to ride a mountain bike trail with "flow".
Riding with flow is an often heard term among riders in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Yet the term isn't listed in either online Mountain Bike Dictionary, or the Dictionary of Mountain Bike Slang. So I looked in the Mountain Bike Texas Dictionary, and still no flow. So I think it is a local phenomenon. Perhaps because we have more trails around here that don't have good flow, that make you slow down and negotiate tight twisty momentum kills features. River Legacy has flow. And that is where Mark Cayton, "Oldjackbob" will be teaching his flow clinic for the 4th time. Mark is a big proponent of riding with flow. Which I think means keeping a good pace, keeping up the momentum, rhythm, being smooth. I am sure Mark will chime in below and elaborate more.
