This clinic is geared towards teaching beginning and/or timid riders how to ride the more difficult sections of the easiest trail in the entire DORBA trail system. First, the series of small Dips, and then, the tight twist loop that immediately after the dips. Tight and twisty sections are challenging because they often require you to go so slow, that it is difficult to maintain your momentum.
All Skills Clinics require that you are a DORBA.org member or FWMBA.org member . That is a paid member of one of these two clubs, not a Dorba Meetups member, and not someone who has registered to post on the DORBA forum. We also require that you bring and use your helmet and strongly advise you to bring water. If you do not agree with our helmet requirement you will not be allowed to participate.
Please download, print, sign, and bring with you the following required DORBA Event Waiver: http://files.meetup.com/3841722/NEW-WAIVER.pdf We will have a few there if you forget. Please don't.
This clinic is dependent upon good weather and trail conditions. CHECK THIS POST THE MORNING OF THE CLINIC for any changes or cancellations. If I have to cancel because of weather, I will make the appropriate announcement on this thread.
There is no minimum age per se. We will leave that up to the discretion of the parent. Parents are responsible for their kids at all times. Children are the welcome, but we don't make a lot of effort to make any special considerations for them.
This clinic will be lead by Deborah Reim.
Please consult the Clinic FAQs (http://dorba.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=218)for additional info.
This clinic will meet at the old original trailhead on California Crossing. http://dorba.org/trail.php?t=17
