What we’re about

Welkom bij de Meetup groep Lichaam, geest en zenuwstelsel/Body mind and nervous system, een live- en online groep om in bijeenkomsten meer te leren over de groei en werking van het menselijk brein en het zenuwstelsel in het menselijk lichaam en hoe we die kennis kunnen inzetten om ons leven, welzijn en welzijn te verbeteren.
We zullen praten over en ervaren:

  • Hoe het zenuwstelsel dagelijks reageert en functioneert, gebaseerd op de Polyvagaal Theorie van dr. Stephen Porges.
  • Hoe de verschillende delen van het brein voortdurend samenwerken met het zenuwstelsel door het hele fysieke lichaam heen,
  • Hoe ons verstand in de prefrontale cortex kan leren communiceren met de oudere delen van het brein (de emotie en de overleving) via somatisch lichaamsbewustzijn.
  • De oorzaak en betekenis van gevoelens en emoties en het verschil daartussen.
  • De verschillende methodes van mindful communiceren met jezelf, o.a. door mindful en onstpannende meditaties en (groep) Brainspotting.

Wat te verwachten:

  • Wetenschappelijk getoetste kennis inzichtelijk uitgelegd
  • Ervarende verkenning met elkaar, dyads of in kleine groepen
  • Groepsgesprek en discussie, Q&A

Welcome to the Meetup group Body, mind and nervous system, a live and online group to learn more in meetings about the growth and functioning of the human brain and the nervous system in the human body and how we use that knowledge. can use to improve our lives, well-being and well-being.
We will talk about and experience:
How the nervous system responds and functions on a daily basis, based on the Polyvagal Theory of Dr. Stephen Porges.
How the different parts of the brain continuously work together with the nervous system throughout the physical body,

The different methods of mindfully communicating with yourself, including through mindful and relaxing meditations and (group) Brainspotting.
