The open meadows and fields with grazing cattle, the swans, ducks and geese you’ll find along your way, and deer as well as all manner of native wildlife await you. Guildford Meadow is the perfect pausing place for lunch at either one of the many restaurants or pubs within easy walking distance, or perhaps a picnic on the boat whilst enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
From Guildford Meadow, it will take around two and a half hours to return to Farncombe Boat House. Depending on how lazy your lunch was, you may have time to head further downstream through Millmead lock, through the town centre, and past Dapdune Wharf to our furthest cruise point which is the Rowbarge Pub before turning and returning to the Boat House by 17.30
