Every year, The Wildlife Aid Trust based in Leatherhead host a annual summer open weekend. This is there biggest fundraising event of the year, with all proceeds going towards the care and rehabilitation of the thousands of animal emergencies they respond to.
This is a fun and entertaining experience for all the family. With stalls and activities for young and old alike, you can enjoy live music, local arts & crafts, photography and much more. From learning how to make bird feeders to buying beautiful artwork. There is plenty to eat and drink too, with the wonderful Gosia's Kitchen returning and a craft beer stall!
The hospital tour provides a unique opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at one of the UK’s leading wildlife hospitals. You will also get to meet some of the volunteers and talk to them about their experiences of looking after sick and injured wildlife.
