Wareham to Corfe Castle Walk
Details
A green, 6.5 mile walk from Wareham to Corfe, featuring Wareham walls, riverside trails, abandoned tramways, forest trails and hillsides and views at the end. This is a lovely, tranquil and relaxing walk, climaxing with Corfe Hills. We can 'go steady' and most of the walk is flat. This is a one way walk returning via bus to the start point.

Meet at junction of Cow Lane where it cuts through W Walls.

What to bring: large bottle of water, sun cream depending on weather, sun hat, and sponge seat if you have one, snacks, packed lunch
Terrain: okay for trainers in most part, boots helpful for hills (check weather the week before)

Hazards: one fast road to cross - crossing will be supervised by the walk leader
Pets: there can be wild deer and roaming sheep, lead required at certain points

Risk assessments are undertaken for our walks and our walk leader is first aid trained but participants are expected to take responsibility for their own wellbeing and safety and walks are undertaken at your own risk.
