Jurassic Coast Spectacular Walk - Tyneham Ranges
Details
Not to be missed! Join us for one of Dorset's most spectacular scenic walks around the historic Tyneham Ranges. The views are awesome!
Please let us know in advance if you are coming so that we don't set off without you. Contact details below.
A 6-mile circular walk takes in the hillside, cliff paths, a small outcropping that can be climbed and a steep, challenging hillside that will really burn off those calories before a wander up and down on a hill fort, a beach visit and view point, then flat return to the car parks. We go at a manageable pace and take rest breaks when required.
Assemble at Tyneham Village car park 10:15 for a 10:30 set off. End time is very approximate.
- Parking (donation) change required
- Car sharing advised - please request and offer on Meetup
- Those sharing please offer to contribute towards fuel
- Toilets on site at start/finish
