Do we still need developers? Coding assistants autocomplete lines – we let agents run the entire Software Development Lifecycle: requirements, user stories, architecture, implementation, tests, security reviews, deployment. The developer's job shifts from writing code to steering a factory.
Sven opens with the concept: why "AI-assisted coding" falls short, how an agentic software factory is organised, and where humans must stay in charge – and where they only slow things down.
Henning then takes you into the engine room of our Agent Hub, built on Amazon Bedrock:
- how specialised agents split the SDLC and hand over work to each other
- how context, tools and skills reach the agents – and how we keep permissions and guardrails tight
- quality gates: how agent-written code gets tested, reviewed and approved
- a live demo: from ticket to deployed change, end to end
We close with real numbers: token costs and effort compared to classic development – including what failed along the way.
