Anton Chekhov’s classic The Proposal gets a hilarious desi twist! Eligible bachelor Mr. Barkhurdar sets out to propose to his neighbour’s daughter Mohtarma… but instead of romance, the evening spirals into a comic battle over land, dogs, and egos.
Presented by Rangaai Theatre Company, this immersive Hindi-Urdu production turns the stage into a full-on sangeet celebration with live music, dazzling lights, quirky relatives, and you — the audience — becoming part of the family.
