What we’re about
Hello, and welcome to Do Stuff, Make Friends! We're a social group created for people in their late 20s and early 30s, dedicated to organizing fun and exciting events. Whether you’re looking to meet new people, try new activities, or simply have a great time, you’re in the right place.
We host a wide variety of events designed to bring people together—from casual nights out for drinks and conversations to checking out annual Winnipeg events, enjoying seasonal activities, visiting museums, and even trying archery or playing games! There’s something for everyone!
Please take a moment to read through the group rules, and feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns. We’re here to help and excited to meet you!

Group Rules:
- Please be respectful to all other members and organizers.
- If you sign up for an event and you're unable to attend, please be sure to change your RSVP status so someone else can go. Please note that for events that require the host to make a booking/reservation or that have large waitlists, cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be counted as no-shows. If you RSVP and no-show for 3 events, you may be temporarily banned from attending future events.
- Racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or any other bigoted comments of this nature will not be tolerated.
- This is not a dating group. While we understand that members may form more intimate connections with each other, the primary goal of this group is to create friendships and foster a positive social atmosphere for everyone. Unwelcome advances toward other members will not be tolerated.
- Unless explicitly stated, events are strictly 18+. This group is intended for people in their 20's and 30's, and while there is some flexibility for your plus ones - most events will not be suitable for minors.
- Some events may be hosted at places that serve alcohol. While we don’t mind attendees having a drink or two, excessive alcohol consumption or rowdy behavior will not be tolerated - especially if said behavior poses a danger to oneself or others.
---
Breaking any of the stated rules may result in either a temporary or permanent ban.
Our main goal is to create an atmosphere where all members feel included and welcome. Any behavior that impedes this goal will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
