Chill Afternoon Floating on the Scenic Pinawa Channel 🛶🌞

Join us for a relaxing afternoon floating down the beautiful Pinawa Channel! We’ll be renting a few tubes and enjoying a 2-3 hour float down this calm and slow-moving lazy river 🌊. It’s the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the great outdoors with good company.

Event Fees 💸 The tube rentals have already been booked and paid for, so please be sure to e-transfer the rental fee to the event host within 24 hours of the event. Payment in cash is also fine!

What Should I Bring? 🎒

• Clothing: Since we’ll be on the river, make sure to wear something you’re comfortable getting wet in.
• Water shoes or sandals: Appropriate footwear is highly recommended as the trail to the channel and back has sharp gravel and rocks 🦶.
• Essentials: Bring a full water bottle, snacks 🍫, a hat 🧢, sunglasses 😎, and sunscreen 🌞. We’ll be outdoors for at least 2 hours, so stay hydrated and protected!
• Note: Glass bottles/containers are not allowed on the channel 🚫.

I recommend either having an early lunch, or packing something to go with you one the river. We're going straight from the city to the channel, there won't be a chance to buy food once we leave Winnipeg. The meetup spot is right next to a Safeway, so you can grab some food there if needed.

Transportation 🚗

The channel is about an hour outside of Winnipeg, so we will meet at
Saints Café (111 Osborne St.) at 11:00 AM. Please arrive on time so that we can hit the road by 11:30 AM.

Let us know if you need a ride or if you have your own vehicle and can take passengers with you!
