It is a privilege to welcome our next speaker Rahul Kothari presenting a topic on Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies Fundamentals
This talk is about a deep dive into the technical aspects of Distributed Ledger Technologies like Blockchain, exploring the different types, its use-cases, and understanding the scope of challenges faced by the blockchain community.
Rahul is an Implementation consultant at Tune.fm (a music streaming service based on micropayments), where he has created one of the most widely used application on the Hashgraph network - a network that can process payments faster than Visa. Before this, Rahul had worked on creating digital identity solutions for an NGO in Myanmar to solve the Rohingya crisis. He also helped Cognipet to leverage blockchain to tackle the black market in the pet industry. Aside from this, Rahul is a computer science student here, in Liverpool and has given talks at the Leicester Space Center and Warwick University.
We will also be showing blockchain services with Microsoft Azure and providing you the knowledge of how Microsoft has developed these services to help its user's development blockchain solutions
