More about Mark Rendle -
Mark is a Microsoft Azure Development MVP – his career in software design and development spans three decades and more programming languages than he can remember.
C# has been his favourite language pretty much since the first public beta, when you had to write the code in a text editor and compile it on the command line.
Things vying for Mark’s attention lately include .NET Core, Docker and all the new things on the Azure Cloud platforms.Details on Topic -
Details on his topic - Diagnostics, Metrics and more in .NET
Do you know what your code is doing in production? Do you know how long things are taking, how often they're happening, or even if they're not working properly? In this talk, I'll share some of my experiences over the last year adding instrumentation code to .NET applications, from ASP.NET Core to good old WPF.
I'll show you some of the libraries, datastores and dashboards I've been using to get insights into application performance and other characteristics. And I'll talk about the kinds of things you need to measure to create effective and meaningful dashboards for everybody in your organisation, and how you can instrument your code in ways that don’t slow it down and work for everybody in your organisation.
Mark will also be expanding on few topics on Docker, Kubernetes, microservice, ASP.net core with F# during/ after his talk.
We're looking forward to seeing you there!
