Με μεγάλη μας χαρά σας προσκαλούμε στη Χριστουγεννιάτικη εκδήλωση της .ΝΕΤ κοινότητας στην Ελλάδα την οποία συνδιοργανώνει το dotnetzone meetup group και η Kaizen Gaming, που είναι και ο χορηγός της εκδήλωσης.
Σκοπός της εκδήλωσης είναι η να συγκεντρωθούμε ξανά, παλιοί και νέοι, για να συζητήσουμε και να ενημερωθούμε από καταξιωμένους ομιλητές για σημαντικά τεχνικά θέματα, ώστε να μπορέσουμε να αξιοποιήσουμε τα διαθέσιμα εργαλεία του .ΝΕΤ με τον καλύτερο και αποδοτικότερο τρόπο.

.NET 8 launched with a secret application stack called .NET Aspire. In this talk Nick will explain what .NET Aspire is, what problem it is solving, give a hands-on demo and express some concerns about this technology.
Bio: Nick is a .NET & C# content creator, educator and a Microsoft MVP for Developer Technologies with years of experience in Software Engineering and Engineering Management.
He is also an author and the founder of the educational online courses platform Dometrain.

19:45 - 20:30 Eirik George Tsarpalis - What's new in .NET 8 (45 mins)
.NET 8 has just been released! The new version incorporates thousands of new features, performance improvements, new tooling and community contributions, all of which would be difficult to cover fairly in a single talk.
Join us in this session as I give you a high-level overview of some my favourite new features that we having been working on, including C# language features, runtime and library enhancements, new source generators and Native AOT improvements.
Bio: Eirik George Tsarpalis is a Principal Software Engineer in the .NET team at Microsoft, based in London. He is author and maintainer of a number of open source .NET libraries with a focus on F#.

The event will take place on Thursday, December 21, at 18.30, at Kaizen Campus, the brand new premises of Kaizen Gaming in Athens. The venue is located right next to the Neratziotissa metro / suburban railway station, as well as a number of bus stops. Kaizen Gaming is kindly providing the venue and sponsoring this event.
