In this session, we'll start by creating and deploying a simple AWS Lambda function using .NET. We'll then expand this example to illustrate how real-world applications can become complex and difficult to maintain. We'll discuss the challenges this complexity brings, particularly in testing and maintaining the code. We'll also explore how AWS Lambda's execution environment works, including how it can reuse the same environment for multiple function invocations to improve performance. Finally, we'll introduce the AWS Lambda Annotations Framework, a tool designed to simplify your Lambda functions, making them cleaner, more organized, and easier to test and maintain.
