Getting started with IoT on Raspberry Pi

Ever wondered how to make your code physically interact with things in the real world? Got a home automation project in mind?
In this session we learn how to get set up programming in C# on your Raspberry Pi. We will program it to move things using solenoids, servos, check sensor readings and of course, blow things up, all using C#. As an extension to this, we will then control the Pi remotely using the cloud (Azure IoT hub) to control our new found capabilities from afar. We also use event hub to listen to live messages back from the device which are displayed on a blazor app This is a practical and hopefully fun demonstration on how you can get started quickly and explore this fascinating area of programming.
