Richard Conway on Azure

Richard Conway is co-founder at UK Windows Azure Users Group, a Windows Azure MVP and Insider.

He has 16 years in the software and software security and cloud industries with investments and startups. 

Richard is solely focussed on resource management, big data and HPC in Windows Azure. Recent projects have included enterprise-wide HDInsight projects with hooks into mahout and the recent addition of Shark/Spark as well as a scalable mobile payments platform with Windows Azure Mobile Services and Windows Azure Active Directory.

He is an author of eight books and numerous articles of technical scope.

His specialties include: project management, software engineering and security, cloud development and migrations, company startups, project finance, financial modelling, environmental.

      I didnt mean to come off as defensive, but just stating that for now, it doesn't fit everybodies needs :( I think azure provides cheaper licenses for azure-running sql instances, but im not 100% sure on that one.
      But then things like mirroring is supported out of the box which makes up for the lack of some features in my eyes :).
