Croatan Gravel Ride

☀️ SUN’S OUT, SHORTS OUT! ☀️

The people have spoken, and apparently, you all have a taste for adventure (or you just really hate beige wallpaper). The LAKE won by a landslide! 🗳️💦

This Saturday is officially looking like a 70-degree slice of heaven. It’s time to give those pale arms some Vitamin D and finally dust off the short sleeve jerseys. We’re officially trading the winter layers for some chunky Croatan goodness.

The Plan:

We’re skipping the "safe and smooth" and heading for
The Explorer. It’s longer, it’s chunkier, it’s got a lake, and it requires at least slightly more skill than "none." If you like your gravel with a side of scenery and a healthy dose of fishtailing through the loose stuff, this is your ride.

🏠 Address: 3775 Hwy 58, Swansboro, NC 28584
⏰ Start: 10:00 AM (Roll-out—don’t be that person!)
📏 Distance: ~23 miles
⚡ Pace: Social (14-15mph). We’ll split into two groups if the "speed demons" start twitching.

The Rules of Engagement:

✅ Be Self-Sufficient: Bring your flat kit supplies and snacks. The forest doesn’t have a concierge.
✅ Stay Safe: Helmets are mandatory; traffic laws are a real thing.
✅ No Rider Left Behind: We regroup, we hang out, and we finish together.

Come for the miles, stay for the great company and the inevitable post-ride "Croatan Sand" stories. 🚴‍♂️🌳
