Gravel Ride: Stella to the Waterfowl Impound

Dust off those gravel tires and join us for a scenic out-and back through the quiet back roads of Carteret County! We'll roll out from Stella, wind our way to the waterfowl impound.

This is a B-group ride.
Expect a moderate, steady pace with regroups. You should be comfortable covering 35–40 miles on unpaved surfaces. All are welcome — just come ready to ride.

One non-negotiable: bring plenty of water.
There are no resupply points on the route, so load up before you leave. Two bottles minimum, three if it's warm.

A note on parking:
Please do not park in the grassy area behind the fuel tanks — that section is part of a drain field and the owner has asked that we keep vehicles off of it.
Also, if you're parking there for the ride, please show some love to the store by grabbing a drink, snack, or whatever catches your eye. The folks at Stella Grill have been generous in letting us use their lot, and the best way we can thank them is to be respectful of the property and good guests. It goes a long way.
