Our Mission:
To provide comics in LA county a place to work out new material, build community, and maybe even make a little money while making people laugh.
Description:
We are an hour and 20 minute long evening of comedy downstairs at Executive Suite hosted by Ryan Hill and Bradley James Gibbons on the first Wednesday of every month starting at 7:30 PM.
The start time is strict due to drag events that happen at 10 PM.
There is a $5 cover out of which prize money for the winner and headliner is collected.
The first hour is an open mic divided into 5 minute slots with an online pre-sign up, and concluding in an audience vote for funniest comic of the night.
After a brief intermission, the previous month’s winner headlines the evening with 20 minutes of material.
Both the headliner and the evening's winner walk away with a small cash prize.
Every sixth month becomes a showcase evening for the past five months of winners.
If possible, the showcase will be filmed to provide the comics with footage at minimal cost.
