Downeast Humanists and Freethinkers Monthly Meetup

Details
Join us for an engaging afternoon of philosophical discussions and social mingling at the Downeast Humanists and Freethinkers Monthly Meetup. We meet on the first Saturday of each month at 1:30 pm in the downstairs meeting room of the Ellsworth Public Library. The library will be closed when we leave, so it's best to enter through the back door.
Following the meeting we usually go out to a restaurant to be chosen at the meeting for refreshments and further conversation.
August's discussion topic is Sex and God: How Religion Distorts Sexuality, and a book of that title by Dr. Darrel Ray. He is a psychologist and founded the organization Recovering from Religion.

Every 1st Saturday of the month until November 2, 2025
