Here's my winter commitment: Tuesday nights are happening.
The question is what does the weather want us to do?
If it's looking like the hills will be plush with snow, it'll be SLEDDING at Christie Pits. That's usually a rarer occurrence, and on the nights that aren't swell for snow, then the event will be SKATING, and it'll be at Dufferin Grove Park. By 2 pm, day of the event, I'll update both pages and send an email to those who've RSVPed to let you know which it'll be.
This is a crossover event series with the Toronto Ice Skating Meetup (https://www.meetup.com/iceskating-25/events/236620234/). Here's how you RSVP: On both pages if you're up for either, or just on this page if you're only up for sledding.
In past years, it's been a conundrum: how to plan in advance for sledding outings when you just don't know if the weather will be conducive. Meetups work best with advance notice and commitment. So I'm committing. Wanna be committed with me?
(Bring your own skates/sleds and dress weather appropriately!)
