We have a guest speaker and instructor today Heather Feinstein , a tournament player, who is going to teach us how to Score our Mahjong Open Play Sessions. In preparation for our social clubs friendly competition with prizes similar to what we did for International Mahjong Day at Cafe Lily. She will take the scoring to a 3 step process versus one just using the value on the card. Making our events more interesting and different winning categories to add.

Our mini tournament which was scheduled for November 16th. has been cancelled. Many members and Leadership Team have said they loved the social aspect, friendly competition and Celebration during award/prizes concept better! So we will repeat these Fun-Friendly Competitions 3 or 4 times a year instead.

So let learn how to really keep score and practice occasionally just for fun!
Heather also teaches Siamese Mahjong (my fav for play) which is 2 players so when we have overflow and people waiting to rotate in they can play Siamese. This will be a fun evening... The Fee for this event is $10
