NL Texas Hold'em Poker Tourney ($50.00 Buy-in) Sun. 11/10 @ 12:30 pm (18 seats)

The November 9 WSOP Main Event no longer exists, but our group continues to hold on to the tradition of a yearly Main Event bracelet tournament.

No-Limit Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament on Sunday, November 10th at 12:30 pm in the 3rd floor Recreation Room. There will be up to 18 seats (2 tables) available. Buy-in will be $50.00 and there will be no rebuys just like the single elimination tournament format of the WSOP Main Event. The tournament structure will be the following: $15,000,000 in starting chips with blinds starting at $25,000/$50,000 (so 300BB starting stacks). Blinds will be raised every 20 minutes.

For this event, we will be using replica WSOP poker chips with the following denominations:

$25,000
$100,000
$500,000
$1,000,000

This tournament will use a custom built, oversized 43mm $1,000,000 chip. It is just like the one you would find at the WSOP Main Event final table.

The winner will receive the shiny bracelet and bragging rights. And yes, you get to keep it! On top of that your name will be etched into the Downtown Long Beach Poker Association trophy of tournament champions.

Here are the rules for those who RSVP to my poker games:

All new (first time) attendees MUST send me their cell phone contact information as soon as they sign up for the event. This includes all those who sign up for the wait list. Failure to comply means you will immediately be removed from the RSVP list. You will not be allowed to sign up and play until that information is provided. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

The payout would be the traditional format:

1st place = 50%
2nd place = 25%
3rd place = 15%
4th place = 10%

Late arrivals will be blinded in, so don't be late.

The tournament will be completed by 9:30 pm.

A separate table will be set up later in case you want to start a side cash game.
