Hail and well met, adventurers - the call has gone out, and in-person events will commence once more!
Please note that Joystick is a 21+ venue after 8:00 PM. You must be vaccinated (or have recovered from COVID-19 recently enough to have antibodies) in order to attend.
Both new and inexperienced players are welcome! We'll teach you the rules, help you make a character, and give a free set of dice to all first-time players.
Dungeon Masters of all skill levels, using any system or setting or always welcome.
How It Works:
DM Happy Hour starts at 6:00 PM - meet your fellows, discuss your plans, and prepare devious plots against your unsuspecting players. At 7:00 PM, DMs pitch their games to players, who join on a first-come first-served basis. Games typically run from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
What You Need to Bring:
You don't need to bring anything to play - we provide dice, character sheets, and helpful advice for all new players!
If you want to run a game you'll need to bring whatever you usually use to run a session - books, maps, minis, etc. If you're running a system other than 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons, you'll need to provide character sheets (and rules instructions) for your players.
