Take your ballet training to the highest level with a class dedicated to advanced technique, artistry, and the discipline required for pre-pointe and pointe work.

Our Level 5 Classical Ballet: Pre-Pointe & Pointe class is designed for dedicated dancers who have demonstrated the strength, technique, and maturity necessary for advanced ballet training. Placement is determined by the instructor to ensure each dancer progresses safely and at the appropriate pace. This class focuses on refining classical ballet technique while preparing eligible dancers for pointe work or continuing their pointe training with an emphasis on proper alignment and injury prevention.

During class, dancers will:
šŸ©° Refine advanced classical ballet technique with an emphasis on precision, strength, alignment, and control
šŸ©° Build the strength, stability, and proper body mechanics required for safe pre-pointe and pointe training
šŸŽµ Develop artistry, musicality, and expressive performance through challenging combinations and classical repertoire
āœØ Improve flexibility, balance, endurance, turns, extensions, and overall technical execution
šŸŒŸ Learn advanced choreography while preparing performances for studio showcases and community events throughout the season

Our recreational program provides advanced dancers with a supportive environment where they can continue challenging themselves, refining their technique, and growing as confident, expressive performers.

Perfect for: Dedicated ballet dancers who have completed advanced technical training and have been placed into the class by the instructor based on strength, technique, and readiness for pre-pointe or pointe work.

What to Wear: Ballet attire is required, including a leotard, tights, and hair secured neatly in a bun. Ballet shoes are required for all dancers. Dancers participating in pointe work must receive instructor approval before wearing pointe shoes and should follow all instructor recommendations regarding readiness and safety.
