Our Adult Cabaret & Burlesque class is designed for adults ages 18 and up who want to explore theatrical dance while building confidence in a welcoming and supportive environment. Whether you're new to the style or have previous performance experience, this class encourages dancers to embrace their individuality, develop stage presence, and enjoy the art of performance.

During class, dancers will:
✨ Learn the fundamentals of cabaret and burlesque technique through elegant, expressive movement
🎭 Develop character, storytelling, and captivating stage presence
💃 Build confidence, poise, and self-expression while exploring personal performance style
🎵 Strengthen musicality, movement quality, and performance skills through engaging choreography
🌟 Learn performance pieces throughout the season while preparing for class showcases

At Alegria Performing Arts Academy, we believe dance is a powerful way to build confidence and celebrate individuality. Our recreational adult program provides a positive, judgment-free environment where dancers can express themselves creatively, challenge themselves, and enjoy the excitement of performing alongside a supportive community.

Perfect for: Adults ages 18+ who are looking for a fun, confidence-building dance class that combines theatrical performance, expressive movement, and a touch of vintage glamour.

What to Wear: Comfortable clothing that allows for movement. Dance heels are welcome for those with previous experience, but are not required. Bare feet, jazz shoes, or character shoes are also appropriate depending on your comfort level.
