Kick up your boots and discover the excitement of country dancing in a fun, energetic class that's perfect for young dancers of all experience levels!

Our Open Level Youth Country Swing & Line Dance class is designed for dancers ages 7 and up who want to learn the fundamentals of country swing and popular line dances in a welcoming and encouraging environment. Whether your dancer is brand new to country dance or has previous experience, this class focuses on building confidence, coordination, and teamwork while having a great time.

During class, dancers will:
🤠 Learn the fundamentals of country swing, including basic footwork, turns, and partner dance techniques
🎶 Master fun and age-appropriate line dances while developing rhythm and musicality
🤝 Build confidence and teamwork through partner dancing, communication, and dance etiquette
⭐ Improve coordination, balance, timing, and overall movement quality
🎉 Learn exciting choreography while preparing performances for studio showcases and community events throughout the season

At Alegria Performing Arts Academy, we believe every child deserves a joyful place to learn and grow. Our recreational program emphasizes confidence, creativity, friendship, and a positive learning environment where dancers can discover new styles, challenge themselves, and create lasting memories.

Perfect for: Children ages 7 and up who love country music, enjoy dancing with friends, and want to build confidence while learning both partner dancing and line dances.

What to Wear: Comfortable clothing that allows for movement and closed-toe shoes with smooth soles. Cowboy boots are welcome if they are comfortable and safe to dance in but are not required.
