Step onto the dance floor with confidence while learning timeless ballroom dances in a welcoming, supportive, and fun environment!

Our Level 1/2 Adult Ballroom class is designed for adults ages 18 and up who are new to ballroom dancing or looking to strengthen their foundational skills. Whether you're dancing for fun, social events, weddings, or simply trying something new, this class provides a strong introduction to partner dancing while building confidence and technique at a comfortable pace.

During class, dancers will:
💃 Learn the basic steps, rhythms, and patterns of beginning ballroom dances
🤝 Develop strong partner dance fundamentals, including leading, following, connection, and dance etiquette
🎵 Build rhythm, musicality, coordination, balance, and confidence on the dance floor
✨ Strengthen social dance skills while learning to dance comfortably with a variety of partners
🌟 Learn choreography while preparing performances for studio showcases and community events throughout the season

At Alegria Performing Arts Academy, we believe dance is for everyone. Our recreational program provides a welcoming and encouraging environment where adults can stay active, meet new people, learn new skills, and enjoy the lifelong benefits of ballroom dance.

Perfect for: Adults ages 18+ who want to learn ballroom dancing, improve partner dance skills, build confidence, and have fun in a friendly, supportive community.

What to Wear: Comfortable clothing that allows for movement and shoes with smooth soles that make turning easy. Ballroom shoes are welcome but not required. No partner is necessary—individuals and couples are both encouraged to attend.
