Weekly Buddhist Meditation Service, Topic: The Nature of Thought

Details
The Buddha taught that the generation of suffering is intimately connected to the process of how we perceive ourselves and the world around us. He called this papanca. This week, we'll dive in to this idea, as well as explore some practices that can be helpful for getting "under the hood" of our own thinking.
A quick note: These days, we typically have around 12-18 folks join us each week, and very few of them RSVP here (so don't worry if you don't see many RSVPs . . . you won't be the only person attending!)
Join members the Dragonfly Sangha each Monday evening at 6:30pm in the undercroft of Mount Calvary Episcopal Church for a weekly Buddhist meditation service as we seek to find peace in our hearts, connect with the world around us, and discover meaning during challenging times.
Each service includes a brief liturgy and talk based on the teachings of the Buddha, followed by an offering of incense and meditation.
Open to all faiths and backgrounds, join us as we come together in celebration of inner peace, loving-kindness, joy, and compassion.

Every week on Monday until December 28, 2025
