Weekly Buddhist Meditation Service, Topic: The Roots of Harmful Actions

Details
Tonight, we'll look at the roots of harmful actions through the lense of the teachings of the Buddha. These days, harmful actions and the suffering the cause seem to be a regular ongoing part of our daily experience. This evening, we'll look at what the Buddha taught about this, with a keen eye on seeing how we can help to better understand ourselves and others in the world.
FYI, These days, we usually have between 12 and 20 folks attend, most of whom do not RSVP here. If you feel inclined to come, please know that you won't be alone.
Join members the Dragonfly Sangha each Monday evening at 6:30pm in the undercroft of Mount Calvary Episcopal Church for a weekly Buddhist meditation service as we seek to find peace in our hearts, connect with the world around us, and discover meaning during challenging times.
Each service includes a brief liturgy and talk based on the teachings of the Buddha, followed by an offering of incense and meditation.
Open to all faiths and backgrounds, join us as we come together in celebration of inner peace, loving-kindness, joy, and compassion.
