This week, we'll explore the Buddha's teaching on the three pillars of mindfulness: mindfulness of body, of emotion, and of thought. We'll discuss the connection of these three, and practice a mindful exercise (that can be done in meditation or out of it) for developing our presence of mind and heart.
Join members the Dragonfly Sangha each Monday evening at 6:30pm in the undercroft of Mount Calvary Episcopal Church for a weekly Buddhist meditation service as we seek to find peace in our hearts, connect with the world around us, and discover meaning during challenging times.
Each service includes a brief liturgy and talk based on the teachings of the Buddha, followed by an offering of incense and meditation.
Open to all faiths and backgrounds, join us as we come together in celebration of inner peace, loving-kindness, joy, and compassion.
