Building from a discussion we had on the 6th, this week we'll explore daily practices that we find easy to implement, remember to do, and ultimately, helpful in addressing the Buddha's four areas of practice, being:

  1. Bringing about positive/helpful mental states
  2. Keeping them around when they're there
  3. Banishing unhelpful mental states
  4. Keeping unhelpful mental states away

Join us each Monday evening at 6:30pm in the undercroft of Mount Calvary Episcopal Church for a weekly Buddhist meditation service as we seek to find peace in our hearts, connect with the world around us, and discover meaning during challenging times.

Each service includes a brief liturgy and talk based on the teachings of the Buddha, followed by an offering of incense and meditation.

Open to all faiths and backgrounds, join us as we come together in celebration of inner peace, loving-kindness, joy, and compassion.
