Te invitamos a una mañana de dibujo y pintura bajo la sombra y el misticismo del Tótem Canadiense en el Bosque de Chapultepec. En esta sesión de plein air, nos reuniremos para observar, sentir y traducir al papel uno de los estados más profundos del ser humano, dejando que la tranquilidad del bosque nos sirva de refugio y estudio. 🌲🎨
¿Por qué pintar la "Nostalgia"? 🕰️✨
La palabra nostalgia proviene del griego: nostos (regreso) y algos (dolor); es el doloroso pero dulce anhelo de regresar a un hogar, a un tiempo o a un amor que ya solo existe en el recuerdo. Pintar este sentimiento es un reto artístico hermoso y complejo, pues implica capturar lo invisible en la postura del cuerpo.
Guiados por Taya (Rusia, IG: @taya_ger), nuestra maravillosa modelo, exploraremos la "anatomía del recuerdo". Nos enfocaremos en los rasgos sutiles que definen a una persona invadida por la melancolía: la mirada ausente que parece observar algo muy lejano, la leve y pesada caída de los hombros, la quietud reflexiva de las manos y la expresión serena de quien viaja en el tiempo a través de su propia mente. Es un ejercicio de empatía visual para pintar la belleza de lo que añoramos. 🕯️🕊️
Un espacio para compartir 🧺☕
Pintar al aire libre también es habitar el espacio con otros. Te animamos a traer tu termo con café, té o algún bocadillo para compartir en nuestros descansos. Haremos de esta mañana no solo una práctica de dibujo, sino un encuentro cálido entre creadores.

# 🍂 Plein Air Drawing: Portrait & Nostalgia in Chapultepec

Life Drawing and Portrait Session (4 hours) ⏳
We invite you to a morning of drawing and painting under the shade and mysticism of the Canadian Totem in Chapultepec Forest. In this plein air session, we will gather to observe, feel, and translate onto paper one of the deepest states of the human being, letting the tranquility of the forest serve as our refuge and studio. 🌲🎨
Why paint "Nostalgia"? 🕰️✨
The word nostalgia comes from Greek: nostos (return) and algos (pain); it is the painful yet sweet longing to return to a home, a time, or a love that now only exists in memory. Painting this feeling is a beautiful and complex artistic challenge, as it involves capturing the invisible through body posture.
Guided by our wonderful model Taya (Russia, IG: @taya_ger), we will explore the "anatomy of memory". We will focus on the subtle traits that define a person overcome by melancholy: the absent gaze that seems to look at something far away, the slight, heavy drop of the shoulders, the reflective stillness of the hands, and the serene expression of someone traveling through time within their own mind. It is an exercise in visual empathy to paint the beauty of what we long for. 🕯️🕊️
A space to share 🧺☕
Painting outdoors is also about inhabiting a space with others. We encourage you to bring a thermos with coffee, tea, or a snack to share during our breaks. Let's make this morning not just a drawing practice, but a warm gathering among creators.
