Mad Shacks is a drawing class that addresses basic construction techniques and materials. Doors, windows, steps, porches, roof types and proportions are all covered in class and as homework assignments. Additionally we address plants, rocks and other things found in a natural environment. This is a skills development class that allows for a great deal of creative interpretation.

Shacks are a great subject for learning to draw and design a complex object. They are simple structures that have all the basic features a more complex building has, but a student doesn't need advanced knowledge of architecture to design and draw them. This class is a student favorite.
