Drawing on Toned Paper – Portrait Drawing

Class Description: In this two-session class, students will create a structural portrait using white chalk and graphite. In the first session, they will make a block-in using the anatomical landmarks of the face, tilts, and measurements. In the second session, they will render their drawings with tonal shapes and white chalk highlights.

Class Dates: Tuesdays, July 8th, and July 15th from 6:30 – 9:30

Materials: Strathmore: Toned Tan Sketchbook 9×12 or 11×14
General Pencil – White Chalk Pencil, Graphite Pencils, HB, and 2B
