Portrait Drawing (Drop-in)

In these drop-in portrait drawing sessions, students will spend a Saturday learning the fundamentals of portrait drawing with direct access to a professional, classically trained artist for hands-on instruction and feedback.

Katya Dennison is an award-winning, classically trained artist. She will walk through the principles of beginning a portrait, followed by basic form rendering.

These sessions focus on anatomy, structure, likeness, and precision of materials — giving students the tools to create a confident drawing with visual expression.
