Instructed Figure Drawing
Details
All levels are welcomed.
We begin with a short discussion/demo of different approaches to figure drawing. Students then work from a live model holding a single pose for two hours. This allows them time to develop their drawing and its elements.
Materials: If you are looking for a good pencil set to bring we recommend these http://amzn.to/2G5Uff2 and a good drawing pad like this one http://amzn.to/2oRJkxV
We take a break every 20 minutes. During the session, I work with each attendee individually and talk about the work they are creating and their individual drawing challenges.
The session is designed to be a combination of practice and theory in the same class.
Since each attendee comes to the session at a different level and with different challenges it is my goal to work with each person individually.
• Refreshments are served at the long break in the middle of the session.
• Please bring a pad up to 18x24, a 2H, HB and 4B pencil and an eraser.
• The price is $25 paid at the time of the class.
• Please RSVP through this meetup so I know you are coming.
I look forward to seeing you there!
